100% of RADIOLOGIC ASSOCIATES OF MIDDLETOWN'S RAM RADIOLOGISTS, AND ALL GUILFORD RADIOLOGY, MADISON RADIOLOGY AND MVAC STAFF HAVE RECEIVED THE COVID-19 VACCINATIONS.

 

To our patients:

The health and safety of our patients and staff is of utmost importance. Our team would like to advise everyone on basic precautions that should be taken in addition to those set forth by the CDC. RAM Radiology remained open for business during the pandemic and continue to follow added precautions including added sanitization protocols to our already high standards of safety.

We ask all of you for your compliance in keeping everyone healthy and safe. If you have any of the following symptoms, please call before your appointment:

  • Fever
  • Runny nose
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Have travelled outside the country
  • Have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19

Bhumika Patel, M.D. joined Radiologic Associates of Middletown in 2019 specializing in Interventional Radiology.  Dr. Patel graduated from Stony Brook University Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Business Management then went on to Stony Brook University School of Medicine to earn her MD with Recognition in Research.  She completed her Radiology Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, NY and an Internship in Medicine from NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY.  She also completed a Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Warren Alpert SOM at Brown University - Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. Dr Patel continue to complete a Women's Imaging fellowship at Yale.

During her education, Dr. Patel was a Chief Resident, member of the Collaborative Care Council and a Secretary, Treasurer, and Recruiter.

Dr. Patel is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology RFS, New York Radiological Society, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiologic Society of North America, American College of Radiology, and American Board of Radiology.  She has been published in numerous journals including the Interventional Radiology: Fundamentals of Clinical Practice (Upper Extremity Arterial Disease), the Journal of Clinical Radiology Case Report: Ureteral Diverticulosis and Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology In Vitro Quantification of the size distribution of intravascular voids left after endovascular coiling of cerebral aneurysms. 

Dr. Patel's husband is also an IR Radiologist, togheter they have 1 child.
