COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Related Notice

To our patients:

The health and safety of our patients and staff is of utmost importance. In light of recent events taking place globally and locally regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), our team would like to advise everyone on basic precautions that should be taken in addition to those set forth by the CDC. RAM Radiology will remain open for business with added sanitization protocol to our already high standards of safety.

We ask all of you for your compliance in keeping everyone healthy and safe. If you have any of the following symptoms, please call before your appointment:

  • Fever
  • Runny nose
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Have travelled outside the country
  • Have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19

Additionally, if your children are home due to a quarantined school closing or a sickness, please do not bring them with you to your appointment.

Billing and Insurance Information

At Radiologic Associates of Middletown (RAM Radiology), our goal is to provide health care for anyone who needs it, regardless of their insurance coverage or ability to pay.

RAM Radiology works with Change Healthcare to process your claim, submit this to your insurance and coordinate any balance due.  Please click here if you need to pay your bill or call 888-276-1003 to make a payment over phone or discuss your account with a Change Healthcare customer assistance specialist. 

RAM Radiology participates with a large network of insurance including all the major plans, Medicare and CT Medicaid plus many specialty plan and networks.  The list below is a reference, you should check with your insurance plan for a complete list of providers and coverage. 

Additionally, some plans may require authorization prior to the procedure, your referring doctor can work with us on this.   

If you do not have insurance, call our office to discuss our self-pay options. In the case our provider is out-of-network, our staff is still happy to file a claim with your insurance company and can occasionally get special exemptions for out-of-netwrok benefits in the case of an emergency.  We can also work out a payment plan with you after insurance has paid its portion.
