Dr. Beck is a Connecticut native, growing up in Cheshire. He attended Cheshire High School where he was captain of the tennis team and member of the ski and cross-country teams.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Connecticut and earned his medical degree from the UConn School of Medicine. Dr Beck went on to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he served as a Chief Resident. He completed a 6-month mini-fellowship in breast imaging, and then continued on to complete a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at Yale.

Outside of work, Spencer enjoys traveling the world, playing tennis, skiing, watching UConn basketball, and spending time with family, friends and his dog.
