COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Related Notice



To our patients:

The health and safety of our patients and staff is of utmost importance. In light of recent events taking place globally and locally regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), our team would like to advise everyone on basic precautions that should be taken in addition to those set forth by the CDC. RAM Radiology will remain open for business with added sanitization protocol to our already high standards of safety.

We ask all of you for your compliance in keeping everyone healthy and safe. If you have any of the following symptoms, please call before your appointment:

  • Fever
  • Runny nose
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Have travelled outside the country
  • Have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19

Additionally, if your children are home due to a quarantined school closing or a sickness, please do not bring them with you to your appointment.

Bruce Kovalenko, M.D., is a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist based in Connecticut.

Dr Kovalenko earned his medical degree at New York University and completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Bridgeport Hospital, part of the Yale University Program. He then completed his Vascular & Interventional Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kovalenko is the former Chief of the Interventional Radiology at Middlesex Hopsital.  Bruce is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Society of Interventional Radiology and the American Medical Association.

His specific interests include: oncologic intervention including chemo and radio embolization, as well as percutaneous ablation of primary and metastatic tumors. He specializes in the following areas: uterine artery embolization for treatment of uterine fibroid disease, peripheral arterial disease. Permanent and temporary dialysis access. Treatment of peripheral and pulmonary arteriovenous malformation and Venous access procedures.
